Wine impressions 1-27-25

Mark,
Godforsaken locations are much more common than you think. FWIW, I have never seen Chat Fou on any wine list in either place I live nor on any of the stops we have made traveling to and from those places.
Hence, the “at least they have this” category of wines is relevant for me.
But in this particular case, it was somebody else’s bring. So I tried it.

Dressner has been out of the NC market for over a year and, unfortunately, I don't see that changing soon.

Sad news.

Jonathan, I managed to surprisingly forget your presence.

Sorry!

. . . . . . Pete

P.S. Please forgive the exclamation point.

Although as a matter of style, I prefer using them sparingly, there is nothing wrong with them. Virtually every sentence in Sue's Mysteries of Paris that doesn't end with a question mark ends with an exclamation point. My co-translator and I changed maybe 80% of them into periods. Still, no need to be sorry for having been "sorry!"

Right. Makes perfect sense. Yeah, I didn't expect you would see it on a wine list, particularly in NC.
