I'm not Keith, but Duplessis vintages from 2002-14** or so frequently showed oxidation from les Clos and the Mountains. From 2016 much less so. Haven't tried to discover if I have been luckier or there was a change.

i am pretty sure some of my '17 vaugiraut is premoxed

regrettable. And how the heck did Montmains become Mountains?

I'll let someone more familiar with the landscape of chablis make a joke here.

Is Louis Michel using Diam these days? I'd want to get some if so. Right now the only Chablis I'm buying is Malandes, all under Diam.

Aren't the Louis Michel wines under screwcap?

(I might be wrong about the upper-level cuvees)

Only the village wine.
No diam (that I know of).
Although I have heard from others that they had premox problems, I have not experienced any.
Best, Jim

Damn Mountain! (Er, maybe that’s too far to the southwest.)

I'm not sure I should even weigh in here - my Chablis drinking has dwindled in recent years. But when I was semi-obsessed with it around 2012-2018, I had frequently good experiences with Brocard, less frequent but generally good with La Chablisienne, very mixed with Fevre, great highs but also unexciting wines from both C and L Moreau, a couple of good ones each from Piuze and Defaix (small sample).

Why the dwindle?

Combination of rising prices and my insatiable curiosity leading me down other wine paths. Probably a mistake, given that prices seem more likely to rise further than fall.

that is an impressively long-winded way of saying muscadet
