So, I actually think the '07 Foillard is a touch more fruit forward than the '06, though I certainly like them both. I also am liking Pinot a lot more, though, admittedly, I have yet to fully embrace it. I did like the Arcadian, though I do wish there was a little less of a citrus note. It doesn't really seem like it belongs.
I was very pleasantly surprised with how well the Bourgueil showed. Just so alive and vibrant and not a trace of green. I'm generally not that fond of Loire Cab Franc precisely because, well, V8 frequently tastes better. However, I'm discovering that with say at least 15 or so years on them and from riper vintages, any greeness fades away and manifests itself as pleasant tobacco notes.
Finally, that '05 Barral was beautiful. I will definitely be getting some when it comes in.
