The difference is there wouldn't be bacon in the pic the person you're referring to might post.

I think the internet needs more pictures of pork-product foundationwear. I'm searching for prosciutto jockstrap pictures right now, will be back soon.

I had a cocktail the other day that was made with bacon-infused bourbon. It was not a good drink: all I could taste was the smoke.
 
Drink (in Boston) makes one with a similar infusion that I actually quite like. Possibly more delicate than yours.
 
I just learned this weekend that St George Spirits in Alameda has made a fois gras vodka, and made Anthony Bourdain try it.

Its not bacon, but its weird...
