Sad news

[Christian Miller (CMM)]

This happened last week, but I didn't see it mentioned on this board, so I'm not sure how many people know. Donn Reisen, the long time president of Ridge, former president of the ZAP board and long time promoter of Zin and CA terroir, died. Apparently a suicide, shockingly enough. I didn't know him well, but he always was a reasonable and thoughtful guy and pleasant to work with.

I didn't see that one. Surprised that it sank so quickly, given this board's interest in their wines.

I was surprised too. Perhaps a certain amount of discomfort with the subject matter?

Probably. Its a subject that seems generate a lot of wide ranging emotions and mostly for those that have personal experience.
