I had a chance to sample Kane's first vintage tonight. While I enjoyed it, I'm surprised it found its way into the Real Wine Massacre; it just doesn't seem like the kind of wine Denyse Louis would approve of, and I know she's the real brains behind the operation.

Yes, absolutely correct. It's clearly a wine built for the long haul. I think you were smart to blend in a little petite sirah, it gives it more backbone.
