Anyone familiar with E. Texier's 03 Cote-Rotie?

Saw some of the 2003 Eric Texier Cote-Rotie VV at a trusted retailer's. Have been avoiding the Rhones from the vintage after being burned by a number of them, but am quite intrigued re. this one. Does anyone here have some experience with his 03s?

Was better than Brzme Pergault until last summer.
Not any more.
Not very terroir driven. IMO.
No leaves left on the vines on 25th of august and very low yields don't give terroir wines, I think.
