Epaul Jet Breton?

Is anyone familiar with a line of wines (Vouvray, Bourgueil, Chinon) from Breton labelled Epaul Jet.

Lavinia has them listed on their website with labels that I don't recall seeing in the U.S. or on the Breton website.

Is this something special for Lavinia? Same wine different labels? Different wine?

Are you sure that this is the same Breton? Not a terribly uncommon surname, after all, especially in that part of France.

If I were a betting man, and I'm not since I am a statistician, I would bet they are the same as the Dilettante label made by Catherine.

They are most surely associated with Pierre and Catherine. That is their poster.

As you say, it is definitely C&P and I was thinking it might be another formulation of La Dilettante but Lavinia lists a Vouvray, Bourgueil, and Chinon under "Epaul Jet" whereas the C&P Breton website only lists Vouvray and Bourgueil for La Dilettante.

Extra wine perhaps.

Or an incomplete/incorrect website somewhere.

I've only tasted Vouvray and Bourgueil from Catherine. It's all a big mystery. Let us know when you unravel the secret.

I was hoping some of the Salon Goers on this site could unravel the secret.

Maybe an email to the source is in order.

I looked at my Salon notes to give you the answer. There it is.

Is it for sale? I love that poster but have never seen it except for a caf next the Panthon and one or two others.

He spelled my name wrong, as you can see. And that was before I changed it from putnam100 too!

Just tasted this today at Lavinia for the El Mundo wine club. Indeed a cuve made for Lavinia (some 150 cases, I would guess). Nice airy, fruity '07.

Actually, interesting enough, several producers have been doing this lately. Herv Villemade, Stphane Tissot, Ren Mosse, just to name three whose Lavinia cuves I've had in the past few months.
