Anti-TN:

In my experience people tend to agree about great wine. People debate this or that, but generally if you open a tremendous bottle, most commentators tend to agree that at the very least, it is notable

You must run with an agreeable crowd; this has absolutely not been my experience, at least not most of the time.

Just off the top of my head, for example, I seem to recall your presence on a night Kane made a sour face and quickly dumped out his glass of a glorious '82 Clos Ste. Hune.

Perhaps you misunderstand, Herr Cod. What Levi was saying is that people agree on great wine. Poor wine celebrated by a few dead wine apologists is not what he's saying people agree on.

Skyline? Wow; what year?

1995.

I was the guy who came up to you at the David Bowler/DANIEL luncheon a couple of years ago and said "O-TOWN!!"
O-Yeah. I must be 30 years older than you; did we already have this conversation?
Brad; I'll come in disguise. I'll be the one who looks like Doris Muscatine.

Dude, no fair with the Kane card. I mean come' on.

I myself have had amazing experiences with Rubesco from the mid-60s, the mid-70s, and the mid-80s.

Levi, did you try the 1990 Vigna Monticchio Riserva from them and if so how was it? A one-word anti TN reply would suffice: good, great, etc...

Thanks,

Cristian

I'm sorry, I haven't sampled that vintage.
