Joe Perry: I had the first akagai last night. I don't know if that means spring is here, they were what I imagine to be the worst of what farmed shellfish could be, so no pics and no tn's (but they too were butterflied like the hokeyguy). Maybe spring will be smaller and less crunchy this year.
