The only way to recover is to do the following:

Uninstall all version of Firefox, Safari or Internet Explorer on your computer.

Restart the machine.

Reformat the hard disk.

Install Linux.

Then install Opera for Linux.

Your other option is to wait for tomorrow when this will all be fixed.

It is Labor Day and the technical support staff has the day off.

I am only able to run this software on Ubuntu 8.04 with Konqueror browser, but I am happy.

Ubuntu 8.04 is so yesterday; I'm on 456.003 and it runs this site beautifully.
The one that doesn't use a browser but only the RSS feed.
