Props to Bruce G.

I am inspired. One of my programs is a pre-voc class for DMH kids and Jeff is right, career paths are not easy to find. Thank you, Bruce.

A friend who is a cheesemaker is now in the middle of buying a small goat farm. Among other things, the goal is to setup a life for her boy. He has Downs, so he'll never know enough about the world to run the farm, but he will always be productive and happy there.

The headline on cnn.com caught my eye, because (like Jeff) I too have an autistic nephew. He lives in Philly, so maybe we should start a few day trips to Chaddsford; he's too young at the moment, but you never know.

What a wonderful story, Bruce. I had thought that making wine in Japan sounded like a full-time job in itself, but you have clearly gone well beyond and I applaud your achievement.

Well done!

I thought you were just a particularly insightful internet contributor with some kind of garage winery in Japan.

Now it's all this.

I hope to drink it; my sister, she lives there ...

What connections does Thor have that this post is stuck to the top of the board?

Thor, can you pull some strings for me the next time I post notes? My posts just sink to the bottom, and it's very dispiriting. Please don't take the whole Joe Perry/Theresa debacle to heart! Please...?

Thanks to all for the very kind words.

I hope the video clip made clear that I'm a pretty incidental part of the whole process.
The folks I work with truly are a force of nature. I've spent time with a lot of crews over the years, but the folks here are second to none.

Joel, Putnam... if you're looking to try some of our wines be sure to give me a shout.
We have a fairly large line-up (including some things that we never release at all), and I'd be happy to point you in the right direction as you pick and choose.

Regards to everyone,
