The label has depictions of 3 waifs with carefully placed ribbons...

2005 Merry Edwards Sauvignon Blanc, alc 14.1%, $28: Much more reasonable with some bottle age...nose of grapefruit rind and melon....tart and crisp with tart pink grapefruit, green melon and some orange notes...really quite a brisk and enjoyable Sauvignon Blanc...quite different than the overripe melon type of showing this had from a 375 2 yrs ago...the only fault is the price..

I've generally like the Merry Edwards Sauvignon Blanc. There is a high percentage of musque in the blend, I believe.

IIRC, she planted the vineyard this wine is sourced from to Sauvignon Musque. I've been a fan of her Sauvignon Blancs since her days at Matanzas Creek in the '80s, but the prices are a bit offputting.
