Where am I?

It seems like a weird kind of place and strangely familiar. I've been wandering in the wilderness a bit too long; perhaps some wine disorder will be diverting.

Are you all here waiting for Callahan?

The NY group told me that you had been killed in the line of duty while. serving with The Royal Canadian Mounties. They said you had intercepted a truckload of Cab cuttings from the Napa valley and had died in the ensuing gun battle at the border. I don't know whether to be happy about your return or sad over the demise of a legend. (What is a living legend called in Canada?)

I can't wait for some sweet, sweet old Spanish wine notes, sir.
You too, L. Liquidator.
I am simply giddy with anticipation.

Best,

It feels indeed strange - like walking into a new home and there is no furniture yet and it smells of paint.

Talking of smells of paint, I have actually had a sip of white wine affected by volatile acidity. I thought this phenomenon was something as ellusive as Loch Ness or the Yeti.

The wine was a Poderi dei Nandrin Lison Lison-Pramaggiore NV.

(for those into Veneto wines, I was told that Lison is the new name for the Tocai Italico grape in the DOC Lison-Pramaggiore).

With Jeff Connell back, the world seems a less cruel place.

Welcome back Jeff, so happy to see you around!
