IANAO, hence, can someone say whether I recall correctly?: there are 3 ways to make pink wine -- mix red+white, use the saignee runoff, and short skins exposure.

You're correct. A fourth way might be to take a gris grape and give it extended skin contact. Or is that a recipe for orange wine instead?
