Congratulations Joe

Happy for the L/D publicity, but geeks in the know have been checking back labels since practically the beginning. It's not really news here.

Given the ho-hum quality of the latest Dressner-Bueker thread, I might just go get out the blubber and look for eskimo jokes.

I had a customer come into the shop yesterday with that handy printable list in hand. I was encouraged, here in the food-and-wine-culture wasteland that is the Queen City.

The "Queen City" - Charlotte, Cincinnati, Buffalo (am I missing some?)? Have you moved?

Would Victoria be too obvious? Toronto, in which I have been malingering recently, for some unknown reason - perhaps similar to Cincinnati.

Well, but Cincinnati has Covington.

I can't speak for Toronto in 1968, though there was some good psychedelic pop music coming from there. But wasn't everywhere hip in 1968? Perhaps not Hamilton County.

Ah, but not the Bay Area! [Sadly, referring to then; it's pretty good now, but not NYC or Paris.]

The former, or, as I heard it called today, Car Lot. Don't go there.
