CWD: '99 JMB Sorrel Hermitage Le Vignon

1999 JMB Sorrel Hermitage Le Vignon, lot 2 Vielles Vignes, alc 13.5%, Purchased for $24.98!!!!!...great Syrah nose of leather, iron, blood and earth...soft but rich and fully developed on the palate...a mature showing of what appears to be a really well made wine. It appears that Jean-Luc Colombo is the consultant to brothers Jacques, Jean-Michel and Bruno (hence JMB).
If only other good Hermitage could be had for $25 (or under $100 for that matter)

Was this purchased on release? Is it more expensive now?

What part of Hermitage? I assume no relation to Marc Sorrel? A relationship with Colombo does nada for me, but the price is right.

... an book excerpt by John Livingstone (on line) reports Syrah and Marsanne holdings in Greffieux and Meal...Marc and Jean-Michel are sons of Henri Sorrel
