jeebus

I posted a request for a jeebus in New York on June 4 on the Jeebus board. On the principle that no one reads that board, I'll post it over here. Of course, if no one wants to have one, then you can just continue not to answer over here as well.

Drat. I would have loved to be there but I'm on call that week :(

Unless you feel like coming out to Jersey City. We have lots of good jeebus venues.

I suppose if other New Yorkers can, I can, but if you're on call, how will you be able to do it there?

What would make you think no one reads the jeebus board?

Because there's no front page that lets anyone know that there are new posts there.

Although there's gratifying activity on both fronts now, the first responses came after I opened a thread here, which was some hours after I opened a thread there. Maybe post hoc, ergo propter hoc, but still...

My on call requirement is to be within 15 minutes of either the office or my home computer where I can log into work in case there's a problem. The likelihood is small but but if it happens I'd be in big trouble if I couldn't get there.

But the good local restaurants are all less than a 10 minute walk from either.

Why on earth would you need a "front page" when there are numbers right at the top of this page that tell you there are new posts there? You just want to make extra work for yourself by having to click to a new page?

Is there some way to display numbers at the top of the page? I don't see numbers.

Mine comes without numbers, too.

After sleeping on it I realized that it was actually a snide comment directed at the politburo. I'll plead dinner party planning anxiety for why I missed it.
