Well it should be hard to discuss film without mentioning the visual language used as a primary element, something that is so often forgotten. Wong Kar Wai is primarily a silent director, his films are at their best when the camera wrests the control of the mood from the story and lets his actors act without dialogue. Same thing with let the Right One In. the fact that you can make a good comparison between the two when the films should be radically different is something else.
