So I spent three hours playing wine box Tetris arranging my Rhone/Burgudy bottles and my German/Austrian bottles in my new, larger, consolidated wine storage locker and I was arranging the wines to put those I want to age the most on the bottom.
I came across a Brun Beaujolais blanc from 2005 and I wondered-- how long should I let this age? What's the board's thoughts? Just one bottle, sure, but I want to get it right.
As a side note, how the Hell can a Stadlmann box be tall for Austrian bottles but as wide as a Rhone/Burgundy box? It takes up a freakishly large amount of space in my storage locker and will have to be replaced.
