Did anyone purchase from the Crush 'progressive' sale?

I was very tempted. I mean the savings of 50% off were tempting. But then I thought about it and realized that I didn't need any of those wines.

I was most tempted by the 2005 Burgundies, but I don't have any place to put them for the next few decades!

Did anyone else score?

Was tempted by the Drouhin Clos des Mouches and some Gouges but fortunately other folks bought that stuff so I didn't have to.

Was tempted by the Felsenberg Auslese yesterday before it sold out, but managed to show some restraint for once. Their Wittmann GG email recently put enough of a hole in my wine budget (not to mention my inability to keep my hands off AJ Adam Spatlese when I went to pick those up - phenomenal wine, btw), plus I'm running out of place.

Cheers,

Salil

Tried for the 2006 Potel Grands Ech but it was sold out. I wanted the 2006 Pacalet NSG too but couldn't find anything else to add to the order so I skipped it.

I got a bottle of the 2006 Pacalet NSG. Should have gotten the 2006 Pacalet Charmes-Chambertin, as that is a beautiful wine.

Was curious about the Gravner Rosso, but there was none left.

Don't you live in Nyc? Did you need to add a minimum for shipping?

If I lived in Nyc (or if they had this sale when I was in Nyc, like last damned weekend for instance!) I would have bought a few bottles. But I couldn't really muster the enthusiasm to ship anything of quantity.

I was theoretically closer to pulling the trigger on Gouges, as I still haven't quite got my head around how much the Mouches goes for these days. Premier Cru still occasionally offers it at a good price (grey market, etc) though.

Ah, the boundless optimism of youth.

I got as far as loading my shopping cart on both Friday and Saturday but managed to resist the temptation.
Wow - impressive. The moment I hit the 'add to cart' button I'm basically screwed and then start looking for other things to add to the order.

I got one of the Pacalet NSG on Thursday at 40% off. Drank it on Sunday and I am more than tempted to find another and pay full price - a fantastic wine.
