Ch Meyney '90 w/Dinner

Peter Creasey

Peter Creasey
Chateau Meyney '90 --
Dark red.
Herbs, earth, dark berry fruits, plums, cassis.
Layered on palate, active tannins, berry fruits, balanced, medium complex, glycerin notes.
Moderate length finish that's flavorful. [90]

Served with Broiled Lamb Chops w/Mint Yogurt Chutney Sauce, Medley of Yellow Zucchini /New Potatoes/Mushrooms/Shallots plus Spinach Paratha...

Don, The tannins are quite smooth but seem resilient. I think this bottling will make good older bones. (I should mention that I like well evolved wines.)

I'll hold off on drinking more of my stash...probably check on it again in a year or so.

. . . . . Pete
