Hello,
We made a great dinner at the tgjp in Paris last friday with two whites Loire 2002 (Chidaine & Leroy) and 4 red north Rhone 2003 (Jamet & Bernard Faurie).
See tgjp.com
Ask any questions on the forum and I will try to answer.
Best regards

And friday july 3rd 2009 we will drink Anjou 2007 (new generation) : Chaffardon, Saurigny, Courault, Rochard and Leroy.
Best regards and see you next time you come.

Many thanks as always, pab; we had a risotto with peas here the other night that was not as beautiful as yours (what else was in your risotto?). If all goes well I should pass through Paris in September...

Hello,
Fresh peas, fresh broad beans & fresh basilic. In september, we should have a Clos Rougeard "verticale" (Bourg & Poyeux - 1990, 1995, 2000, 2003 & 2004) and a north rhone "horizontale" of 2000 (Jamet, Allemand & Faurie). You're old Port is still waiting you.
See you

Well, 2 of those vintages are ready to go.

The others are nice, of course, but early.

It will be an experience. We want to know if Clos Rougeard - pretty expensive bottles - is still the best red wine in Loire (all of my recent tasted were beautifull...). That's why we will drink new vintage. Maybe we will compare with bottles of new trk of Anjou or classical-no-wood Saumur like La Tour Grise.
Best regards
