2007 Lagier Meredith Ros of Syrah. alc 14.5%...a bit redder than salmon color...fresh strawberry nose...clearly a seriously made/French style ros with brisk/crisp acidity and a gentle strawberry/raspberry fruit underpenning...the finish is long and builds in intensity...quite an enjoyable Ros

I tasted this at HdR and was quite impressed. In terms of its weight, it fell somewhere in between Tavel and the better pink wines from Paso Robles that were being poured.
