Eric Texier in the BA lounge

Surprised - and delighted - to find Eric Texier's Crozes-Hermitage 2007 here in the BA lounge at Heathrow terminal 4. It's an elegant, slightly sappy, well mannered Crozes with lovely texture. Yum.

Oh, it's Eric's wine you found in the lounge, not Eric. Not quite the same experience but better than the Woodbridge they tried to serve me at the AA lounge at DFW the last time I got laidover there.

wow! when i lived in england i flew ba constantly, and never once had a wine that good in any ba lounge. best i had was dom on the concord. when i jokingly asked the stewardess to leave the bottle we both giggled and she left. only to return about two minutes later with a fresh bottle in an ice bucket. don't remember the entire flight after that...
