Jamie embraces freebies, private jets, free luxury accomodations and fabulous meals and still "calls them like he sees it."

He's a journalist, writing for newspapers and magazines. He is not solely a blogger.

He's trying to become the Robin Leach of the journalist set.

My fear, is a vinous Donald Trump will one day tell Goode:

You're fired

Bragging hacks with absolutely no discretion have only limited use to the real Rich and Famous.

Good luck!

Ten minutes of my time writing it up. (and that's pretty expensive!)
Seriously, obviously I have no connection with the Landmark tastings in any way, shape, or form. I've never met Jamie, never spoken to him or even exchanged correspondence with him outside a publicly-viewable forum.

I do live in Australia, but I hope that's not too much of a compromise.

I'd like to know which Australian wines Joe has in his portfolio and whether they were showed to the Landmark participants...
cheers,
Graeme

I hear you.

I understand liking Landmark, liking wine people, even liking Australia. :😉:

I just happen to also agree with Joe about freebies. (Take Landmark as an example. Nice people, nice wines, nice gathering. It happened because somebody threw a lot of money around and got the nice people to bring the nice wines to the nice gathering. And that somebody is expecting to see nice smiles on his friends' faces and nice tweets on the interwebs.

And it's all nice. Really it is.

Except, when I read the nice tweet, if I think it's tweet-for-cash, then I am going to ignore it. I've bought my share of Popeil Pocket Fishermen and I don't do that anymore.)
