Putnam Weekley

I discovered it yesterday at Everyday Wines in Kerrytown, Ann Arbor.
Mary described it precisely: an assault of salt. Where's the fruit? No pineapple? No pears, no apples? Actually, plenty of fruit emerged as we drank it, it's just that it was second-order, and drinking the wine was beyond compelling. Maybe fat, sweet fruits are lurking beneath travel-related structural disorder. Not that I hope it changes. It's powerful now and I expect it to remain so. Thrilling. I want to open the other bottle I bought right now, at this moment, but I intend to save it to share with the Slows wine team. They better get here soon ...
