Put on your dark sack-cloth robe

2008 Baudry Ros is here!

I have had this wine three times in the past two weeks, and can confirm that if you like austere, you have found your mark. This is uncompromising, flinty, taut wine.

I do wonder what will pair best with it. A salade nioise wasn't bad, but needed maybe more of the oomph of Provenal ross.

And as a side note, two days in, an unfinished bottle was unmoved. A moral imperative of unflinching rectitude. Fitting.

I love it!

Sounds like the opposite temperament from the ross I usually drink, which are all about jolly fruit. How about some kind of seafood tartare or sashimi? Or the sliced radish on country bread with butter?
