Haven't had it but I'd guess that you're right.

Manuel - do you remember if it was the '01s that we tasted that time at Rosenthal? If so they were wonderful across the board. If not then I've only had one (the PV 'Les Vergelesses') and it was wonderful.

IIRC the Savigny/PV areas generally avoided the '01 Beaune hail. Certainly the Pavelot wines are also fantastic.
