Cape Cod question

I have friends going to the Brewster/Cape Cod area, with a couple of younger kids (for some camp), and wonder if anyone has any ideas about relatively kid friendly attractions or restaurants there or on the way there. Feel free to email me if you are embarrassed to admit you know anything about this subject.

Sorry to post this here, by the way. If Brad Kane would ever get that damn travel page up and running, I would post the question there.

Classic true A&W, trampolines, and mini-putt in Harwich.

Scallop rolls at A&W in Harwich are still $4.75 and they are as good as any $12 roll.

My grandparents lived on the Cape, and I promise you the trifecta of the above was the highlight of our trips.

Plus you can buy the frosty mugs from A&W and keep them in your freezer.

I used to do the A&W in Columbus, Ohio in the summer with my grandmother, aunt, and cousins. Somewhat less scenic than the Cape. And no scallop rolls. Not that I would have eaten them anyway when I was 12.

When I was growing up, our A&W (in the hinterlands of Minnesota) still had intercoms and carhop service. It was awesome.

Alas, it's now an office park.

There used to be go-karts near the trampolines. Still there?

Yup, still there! Although, they weren't my favorite as a kid. I liked the ones in Paugus Bay, NH. They went faster. :o)

This one is still cash only. A time capsule.
