Reminded me of '98 CFE on the nose, but less intensity and concentration on the palate. Still young and I would hold for at least 3-5 more years. Good wine.
Good to know. I generally liked the '98s better (at Hugel) than most of their post-1990 vintages, and hoped it signaled a renaissance. Alas, it seems not.
