Joe Dressner
I have received several notes inquiring about my health.
I just finished a sixth cycle of chemotherapy and will have an MRI in early September.
God and David Buecker willing, it will show stable results and I will be on my way to remission maybe.
I have developed a pernicious case of Chemo Fog (see the Tuesday Science Times for a full treatment) and decided to dump my celebrated blog for Twitter participation. I had trouble getting to 140 Characters on Twitter, but putting together coherent sentences for my blog, even paragraphs, seemed just too much for me.
I'm feeling better the past three days and took a bike ride for the first time since October today. I still have limited use of my right leg but I feel ready to push it some. I need help getting on the bike and getting off and I'm no speed demon, but I never imagined I would be able to ride again.
So, CaptainTumorMan.com is back, maybe I won't die soon, and I'm looking forward to upcoming Jeebus with Rahsaan.
Best,
Joe
