Personal Note

If I had any real powers, I would have found a way for Dressner to share some bottles of Overnoy Vin Jaune with me.

Seriously.

This is something I think about all the time.

Overnoy Vin Jaune, it's like the great unknown.

I imagine some sort of scenario a la Kill Bill where I have to prove myself a worthy apprentice by repeatedly carrying wooden buckets full of water up flights of stone stairs, except instead of Pai Mei at the top it is Dressner sitting lotus style under the pagoda, chiding me.

Me too!

Only I imagine it like the end of Temple of Doom - we are both clinging to a fallen rope bridge and Joe is Mola Ram with three bottles of Overnoy Vin Jaune in a sack at his side. He tries to tear out my heart, but I start chanting "You betrayed Jura!" and the bottles become smoking hot. Joe tries to grab them, burns his hand, and falls into the river to be eaten by crocodiles. I retrieve the clavelins (but keep them for myself...).

Best,
Joe

Crazy.

I almost went with the Indy Last Crusade/Holy Grail analogy, but swapped it up last minute.

What, driving to Montreal is too much trouble for you?

Since when is Overnoy Vin Jaune such a rarity?

We haven't seen too many of them out here on the west coast. From my experience, it's been a unicorn-like bottle seen only in CSW's stocklist.

Years ago, I had to chase people down the street and force them to take a bottle.

Times have changed since Buecker got on the Vin Jaune bandwagon.
