The 98 Graillot CH is drinking beautifully

VLM would approve - in its early 2ndaries!

Wonderful complexity, meat, pure Syrah fruit, slightly sparky, a little peanuty but not too much - liquid charcuterie. Really impressive stuff, given that the vineyards are, well, not the best.

a really wonderful wine...wish I had more (or even some at this point)....we have been tackling our '98 Rhones quite a bit recently...several pleasant surprises
 
The 04 Graillot CH has a pretty big green flavor right now, but in a good way.
Maybe celery and then with air some menthol.
Very refreshing.
