Need Tasty Recipe. Besides pesto, what do you all do with garlic scapes? I have ton and want to use them up.

Best,
Kay

Garlic scapes, or something very much like them (if only I could read Korean) are a big ingredient in Asian cooking. You put them in with pork and shrimps etc. to make your own pot stickers. I'm sure there are hundreds or thousands of uses if you "go Asian"

I found this

I believe garlic chives are a different animal from garlic scapes. There is a third item, called garlic sprouts, as well.

Mlawton, had the oven going last night and roasted up a batch--they were great! Thanks. Will try a few of the other suggestions with the remaining 2 tons.

Best,
Kay

Okay, maybe I slightly overestimated the contents of my bushel bin. We grow enough for ourselves, seed for next year and some to sell.

Shallots too. If anybody is in the market for some choice, pesticide, herbicide and fungicide free golden shallots drop me a line. Your vinaigrette will thank you.

I'm skeptical as to the existence of the undead, zombies, agrosexuals, you know, all that stuff.

But no one ever produced arguments in their favor like the ontological argument or the argument from design so, like, what's even the point of being skeptical? Shooting fish in a barrel.
