Pepiere Gras Mouton?

No, no one has ever tried it. Not even the winemaker. It is sold in a black bottle with no label, and one in every three is actually empty.

(Above may be counterfactual.)

Marc Ollivier's Gras Mouton is about 2 hectares and 2008 was his first year with this complete holding.

He is leasing all this land.

Prior to this, he was leasing several plots of land that went into the Cuve Eden. About 45 ares of those 1.8 Hectares were from the Gras Mouton and are still in the bottling of Gras Mouton. Marc is no longer leasing the other vines that were in the Eden, which is why it no longer exists.

The holdings are extremely well known in the area and are in "gneiss-argilo." The average of the vines are 46 years.

Personally, I prefer the Briords in granite and continue to think of that as Marc's best site.
