Kidneys in Cream with Breton Chinon Beaumonts 2002

No wine tasting here. Just a delicious plate of kidneys in cream sauce and a bottle of Breton's Chinon Beaumont 2002.

The wine was at 11.7% and we made me remember why 2002 was such a lovely year. Ripeness without alcohol at the northern limits of maturation.

Makes you yearn for the old days.

Yes, last bottle I had of this was brilliant. Looking forward to tearing into my Snchal as well.
