That's right. It is going to be on October 27 and 28th at an undisclosed location.

David Buecker will be cutting the ribbon at the gala opening ceremony.

A Karaoke Spcial Michel Delpech is being planned for our national tasting.

Delpech, of course, is famous for his song "Loir-et-Cher."

Please click below to hear this famous song, which was the anthem of France's May-June 1968 movement:

Militants at the Barricades!

The theme of this year's Louis/Dressner national tasting is:

Loir-et-Cher

Grands Vignerons!
Grands Terroirs!

Several celebrity vignerons from the Loir-et-Cher will be there:

Madame Catherine Roussel from the Clos Roche Blanche
Thierry Puzelat from the Clos du Tue Boeuf
Ollivier Lemasson from Les Vins Conts
Herv Villemade from Domaine du Moulin
Nolla Morantin from her new estate, which works 1/2 of the old CRB
Maybe Franois Cazin if we can find him.

There will also be a supporting cast of Friends of the Loir-et-Cher including:

Ren Mosse -- Angevin friend of the Loir-et-Cher
Eric Texier -- Rhne friend of the Loir-et-Cher
Joo Roseira -- Douro Valley friend of the Loir-et-Cher

This is a lot of wine to taste and we will be including all the rest of our portfolio. You have to be invited and you have to be in the wine trade. You have to bring your own stemware and your own corkscrew. A napkin and some bottled water might also come in handy.

The first person who asks what the percentages of grape varieties are in any wine shown at the event will be thrown out. Subsequent offenders will be publicly humiliated.

No cameras are allowed at the two-day tasting. Film or memory cards will be confiscated.

While the growers will be showing wine both days, the mix of other wines will change almost hourly. This will make it worth you while to come both days to this fabulous event. You might want to take vacation time.

People are already talking about this all over Twitter.

They are even coming from Nebraska!

Make sure to be there!

I have been to London one time.

I have been to Hong Kong one time.

Everywhere in the world is good.

But Osaka is the best town.

My favorite town, Osaka.

I have been to Tokyo one time.

I have been to Nagoya one time.

Everywhere in Japan is good.

But Osaka is the best town.

My favorite town, Osaka.

Cheers,

Kevin

My old boss, Mr. Hoashi, was from Osaka. Nice guy but a very heavy smoker. His computer died from second hand smoke. Really. The thing got totally gummed up with tar and just died.

If Bueker is cutting the ribbon for the gala opening ceremony is there a possibility of having Perry burnt at the stake during halftime? If so I'd like to make reservations as soon as possible. We could ask SF Joe what wine to serve with a grilled Unitarian?
