Yvon Metras??

I just ran into one Savio's salespeople in the streets of New York. It isn't happening.

Other company's have been negotiating with Metras for a couple of years. Hopefully someone will get the wine into America.
 
Just out of curiosity, is there any particular reason Metras doesn't import besides his low production? Does he want to keep his wines in France/Europe? Or does he finds exporting to be too much of a hassle?

On an unrelated note, is the reason the price of his wines on sale at Crush so high because they purchased them on the gray market? If there was an importer, would the prices go down?
