Finally got some. This wine is good.
It's very dark for gamay. Really nicely realized nose.
It's that slightly bitter, dense, iron, mineral thing right down the middle of my tongue that makes me agree with those who think this is an ager. What's going to happen with that? This wine has good acid and fruit, of course. But there's something yet to unwind in there.
It also has plenty to offer now. Yum!
