Who's gloating?Let's try to mend some fences, heal some wounds. Mark, VLM, Yixin, let's all father round here and hold hands. Joe and Rahsaan, you too. Rahsaan you have a beautiful bass voice.
I'll start.

Kum bay ya, my Looorrrd, kum bay yaaa!
Kum bay ya, my Looorrrd, kum bay yaaa!
Kum bay ya, my Lord, kum bay yaa!
O Lord, kum bay ya!

The problem is that this is the musical taste of Tardieu-Laurent wine. It can sing it all it wants, I say it's spinach, and I say to hell with it.

No wounds or damage on my end, just trying to point out what I thought was a misapplication of Occam's Razor in a direct fashion.

FWIW, Tardieu is the winemaker for TL wines, not Laurent. Pretty similar methods tho.

Tardieu doesn't make any wine, afaik. Anyhow, I am 100% positive that he doesn't make any Cornas.
TL buys the wine after the first winter in general and do the final part of the levage.
A good friend of mine had his condrieu not purchased by TL, though fermented in these very pricey Laurent new oak barrels, because he skiped one racking in order to avoid an SO2 addition.
So I would say that TL doesn't make any wine but has a strong control over the levage procedures, which are overviewed by Mr Philippe Cambie.
BTW the condrieu is still for sale : 2500 plus shipping for one 228l barrel which a very decent price considering the quality of the oak.
And 228l barrel is a very convinient package for parties. Plus no risk of corkiness.

Damn tootin' The streets would run red with blood, at least until it commingled with spoofy Viognier (no more than 20% by AOC rules, though).
