We arrived back in Napa last night after a 9+ hour flight from NY and a miserable drive from the airport.
We want to first thank SF Joe for his hospitality described in Brad K's post.Considering his wounded condition he served admirably in an above and beyond the call of duty situation. Brad K. even pitched in without any negative criticism possible.
We had dinner at Convivio last Friday and had a great experience foodwise and especially the wine service presented by Levi Dalton. Not only is Levi one of the most knowledgable sommeliers I've run into but he has a great sense of humor. In fact the experience was so good we cancelled our Sat reservation at another restaurant and dined again at Convivio. Fabulous wine list. A destination restaurant IMHO.
Had lunch at Momofuku noodle bar with Brad K. and Michael Abood, a place I would eat at once a week if I lived in NY.
Overall a good experience. Now if I have convinced Chris Coad to come back to Wine Disorder it will have been a pefect trip.
By the way Chris, Brad has a bottle of wine that I left for you. Don't let him leave the country!
