Snake oil in what sense, Lee? It was the original entry (AFAIK) in the one-wine-per-day-at-low-cost sales model. Not my cuppa, but may beat trawling the aisles of TJ's lookin' for some 2BC? And, having not paid particularly close attention to it over the years, I can't say whether on any given day they might not be hawking Gravner's amphora wine or some such. At least their prose ain't nearly as purple as, e.g., Rimmerman's.

Ah-ha. I wondered whether it might not have been what was listed that prompted your query. The Vinturi isn't total hooey IMO in the same way that, say, the Magic Clef or various magnetic devices are. From what I've seen, it just tries to maximize surface-to-volume ratio of wine to maximize oxygenation. I'm not convinced that it works any better than vigorously agitating wine in a decanter, but certainly looks more attractive.
