2005 Donnhoff Norheimer Kirschheck Spatlese: Drink now?

Just drink it, fucker, and let us know.

You're welcome.

Will do.

BTW: Could we use the term "fornicator" rather than "fucker?" I think "fornicator" has a touch of class that "fucker" doesn't quite capture.

To wit, a Werner Herzog quotation:

"Male bears sometimes kill cubs to stop the females from lactating, and thus have them ready again for fornication."

Contrast with:

"Male bears sometimes kill cubs to stop the females from lactating, and thus have them ready again for fucking."

The use of the term "fornication" makes the line sing in a way that "fucking" doesn't quite do.

But I'm open to using the term "fucker" if that is the preferred term of art for this BB.

And then there are the vineyard differences. Oberhauser Brucke seems to be one of their longest aging vinyards whereas Niederhauser Hermannshohle is surprisingly not, beautiful as it is be when young. I have no idea about Norheimer Kirschheck which is what you're asking about.

Of course my experience is limited, there are all sort of shipping and storage vartions, etc. YMMV, especially if you drink hybrids.

Hybrids? Donnhoff grows hybrids?

Sorry, Prius/Paul B/mileage humor.

Very nice. I did notice the Germans haven't been making too many hybrids. Does this call for a strategic Volkswagon-Donnhoff alliance?

the germans have their own version of environmentally friendly, high mileage vehicles - TDI it is called and it's in the jetta and others too I think (or soon)
