Mr. Levenberg,

Would you please contact me by email? I have been unsuccessful in emailing you at the address I have for you.

Thanks.

Hey Levi,
Sorry, that must have been my previous work address or something. Don't think I have your address either. I'm keith dot levenberg at gmail dot com

How about the WD message option? Should we turn our backs on the gifts the Politburo has generously given us?

It also didn't seem to work, unfortunately. Perhaps an old email address was given to the 'buro.

So, for the sake of satisfying my own curiosity, this is what I plan to do on the day of the Big Francophilia dinner: I am going to decant one bottle of Cornelissen Magma 3 hours ahead of the dinner, and I am going to open another bottle of the same right before its service. I'll send 'em both around, and folks can see which glass they prefer when the glasses are side by side. Or at leastfrye Franco Fans can have a better idea of the change in taste that happens.

Sssssh! There'll be too many people there!

Word has filtered back after travel abroad that David Lillie will be attending the Pie Franco dinner. This is good news for those who will be drinking the Breton and Baudry at the same dinner, 'cause they can listen to David rap about them, which is total awesomeness.

Or if folks are sitting too far away from David, they can probably still catch Kevin McK telling Teobaldo tales over a few glasses of that great man's wines.

Or chat up the difference between Pe Franco and Pie Franco with Michael Wheeler.

And Keith Levenberg will be around to talk about what first drew him to chronicle the Pie Franco, and when he decided to draw up what may be the most comprehensive listing currently available of the wines out there in the world.

This one is going to be good.

Give a call if you can make it. We'll find a seat for you.

As a reminder, it would be nice if folks dropped off to the restaurant their wine contribution ahead of the dinner. This would help vastly in terms of organizational concerns on our side. I can think about where to include wines inside of flights, put together a tasting sheet, and all that good stuff. It's all a bit more complicated this time around because if the range of wines to be drunk (French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian north, Italian south, other places).

So far the guy who lives in Conn. has managed to get in with his vino, but no love from the locals.

Some of the locals had their flights cancelled today, unhappily.
