Well, hell, it's not as if it wasn't a team effort after all. AP coughed it up how many times? If they hadn't been so adept at recovering their own fumbles and benefiting from a few key penalties (not as if the other side didn't also benefit from the zebras' whims) it's likely as not that they never would have got to OT. Which, now that I think upon it, might have saved you a fair amount of angst, so never mind...

It's true that I do prefer seeing them succumb to what fate has in store for them before I get to the championship game. Fewer hopes to get up.

Nonetheless, I'll root for New Orleans. Who, outside, Indianapolis, wouldn't? They're going to have to play an awful lot better, though; the Vikings gave them that one, and more than once.
