Soon by the glass in Tudor City.

Come find out.

that's all i needed to know. i just bought 5 cases and was a bit scared by the low price...

Don't be scared.

I've had two bottles from a restaurant list in Oakland over the the past four months or so and found them well into their mature phase -- not all the way down the hill, but descending. I only paid about $45 or so, which I considered money well spent. I didn't sense storage was an issue, but there may be fresher bottles out there for all I know.

At the Domaine Select tasting in NYC a couple of months ago the wine was showing perfectly developed and in its plateau of maturity. Really lovely, especially for fans of the style (like me).

We have the '93 and '95 riservas of this, they are fantanstic with age and have enough meat on their bones to last. '96 was a very strong vintage so enjoy!
