2008 Verdier-Logel Ctes du Forez Volcanique

I do sell this, so take it with a grain of salt but the 2008 Verdier-Logel Ctes du Forez Volcanique that I'm having is drinking absolutely beautifully right now. Aromatic, Crunchy, minerally Gamay from the middle of nowhere. Everything I could possibly want from Gamay. I really can't recommend this wine enough. Truly stunning.

Amen. A great wine. Have not had 08 but other vintages are just superb, fully on par with a good cru Beaujolais. I really think the basalt terroir comes out too.

Yes. Southeast of Saint-Pourain and just West of Lyon.
