The Twenty-First Amendment

I'll be busting some caps tonight.
Crown caps.

Berger Zweigelt and Gruner in the liter bottles for a work holiday party, they are my fall back party wines for a crowd..

Utah, it turns out, was the state to put the amendment over the top on Dec 5 1933.

I'd have never guessed that I owe my cellar to Utah.

Repealing the 18th Amendment was certainly essential and important.

However the compromise of article 2 has saddled us with endless hassle and bullshit.

So yeah, Cheers! mostly...

Maxime Magnon, here. A bit of VA -- well, the smell of a new car seat, anyway -- which blows off after a while. Pure and clean. Nice wine.

Which one? I had a bottle of the '06 Demarrante recently. No VA on that one. It was a nice enough drink, though. Nothing too complicated.

04 breton chinon les picasses, drinking beautifully. everything really where it wants to be. after that 05 bernard levet cote rotie chavaroche, tight and not so happy to be woken up yet. but, the dusty tannins and red fruit peeking out were a lot of fun...

I celebrated with a stomach virus, illness, and a ceremonial walking of the night's selected wine bottle back down to the storage room.
