Today I received the set of Piemonte vineyard maps offered by Rare Wine Co, and which were edited Alessandro Masnaghetti.
I am really impressed with the level of detail and would recommend the maps to anyone who enjoys flipping through The Wine Atlas of the Langhe and would like a complement to that work.
Especially notable: the inclusion of Google Earth coordinates, as well as breakdowns of vineyard parcels by the owner (so you can get a sense of where Giacosa's vines are in the Cerretta cru of Serralunga, in relation to Altare's and Giacomo Conterno's rows in the same cru). The cantina themselves are also mapped.
